WWOOF is World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms, an international organization that hooks up potential volunteers with farms that could use their help. We will be looking for WWOOF volunteers starting in April through October. The suggested length of stay for volunteers is a minimum of one month. We are especially interested in people who could come from April through October, but shorter stays are also possible. In general we expect about a 30 hour work week in exchange for room and basic board. Some weekends for farmer’s markets and chores, and some evenings and/or weekends for haying would probably be part of the mix. We expect people to work hard and to have fun. We are committed to providing educational opportunities for our WWOOFers, teaching as we go and including WWOOFers in as many projects that they are interested in as possible.
